Police Investigate Rash of Burglaries in Babylon Town
As the police look into a series residential burglaries in Lindenhurst, Deer Park, West Babylon and North Babylon, they advise residents to be vigilant and call with any related tips.

The Suffolk County Police Department is investigating a series of residential that have occurred during late-night hours in the communities of Lindenhurst, Deer Park, West Babylon and North Babylon.
Police said these burglaries have occurred during the last two months, and in most instances happened while residents were asleep.
On a few occasions, the SCPD said, the residents awoke and the suspect and/or suspects fled.

No residents have been injured, police noted.
Suffolk Police are advising residents of these communities to be extra vigilant in ensuring all doors and windows are securely closed and home alarm systems activated.

Extra marked and unmarked patrol units have been deployed in the area, police said.
Residents are advised to call 911 immediately to report any suspicious circumstances, vehicles or individuals, police further advised.
First Precinct detectives are also asking anyone with information to call them at 631-854-8152, or to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
