Police: Lindenhurst Man Charged with DWI, Possession
Southampton police say Adrian Golaszewski allegedly operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of a drug.
A Lindenhurst man was arrested by the Southampton Town Police Department over Labor Day weekend and charged with DWI drugs, which is a misdemeanor, as well as unlawful possession of marijuana, which is a violation, according to police.
Adrian Golaszewski, 19, was picked up on County Road 39 in Southampton on Saturday at 1 a.m., said police.
Golaszewski was stopped by police for a motor vehicle equipment defect in the Town of Southampton, according to the STPD’s Sergeant Michael Joyce, and found to be allegedly operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a drug.

As a result, police took Golaszewski into custody on September 3 and charged him with the aforementioned misdemeanor and violation.
He was held overnight at Southampton Town Police Headquarters and arraigned at Southampton Town Justice Court.
