Police: Lindenhurst Man Charged with Grand Larceny
Nassau County detectives say Erick Gessow allegedly stole jewelry from a residence in Hicksville.
A Lindenhurst man has been charged with grand larceny, according to Nassau County Police, after some jewelry was reported missing at a Hicksville residence in which he’d been doing some electrical work.
According to detectives at the Second Squad, the defendant, Erick Gessow, 39, was working as an electrical contractor at the 63-year-old female victim’s residence on Vassar Lane.
The victim reported that assorted jewelry was missing from her bedroom closet, said police. An investigation revealed that the defendant removed the jewelry when he was left alone working at the residence, according to the NCPD.

The Second Squad reported that it arrested Gessow on Monday, August 8, in Hicksville, and charged him with grand larceny in the third degree.
Gessow will be arraigned on Thursday, August 11, at First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
