Police Report: Assault at Barber Shop, LHS Fight, Stolen Truck, Jewelry Theft

Incidents in Lindenhurst, and North Lindenhurst, between April 13 and 27, plus one from March 12.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions. 

Incidents

  • April 27: Assault, second degree, West Sunrise Highway, report indicated, “One male subject; eye injury; in front of Extreme Barber Shop.”
  • April 25: Assault, Winchester Drive, report indicated, “Boyfriend-girlfriend; boyfriend intoxicated; he followed complainant outside.”
  • April 23: Criminal mischief, fourth, Straight Path, report indicated, “’LEP’ Spanish via landline, someone just broke in.”
  • April 23: Assault, Charles Street, report indicated, “Male teen, lacerations, head injury from fight, rescue;” see related stories , and .
  • April 23: Harassment, second, South Second Street, report indicated, “Duplicate event: location: South Second Street.”
  • April 22: Assault, South Fourth Street, report indicated, “Eighteen-year-old son and 20-year-old son assaulted.”

  • April 20: Criminal mischief, fourth, South Wellwood Avenue, report indicated, “Known person pushed and verbally assaulted complainant.”
  • April 18: Harassment, second, Tenety Avenue, report indicated, “Police Officer 3945 110 ‘TOA 0500 240.26.’”
  • April 18: Harassment, second, North Monroe Avenue, report indicated, “Violent mom beating daughter; complainant disconnected.”
  • April 17: Grand larceny, fourth, W Sunrise report indicated, “Stolen 1999 Dodge pick-up truck; see complainant.”
  • April 16: Criminal mischief, third, 30 Street, report indicated, “Subject in ‘goldish’ SUV ‘did criminal mischief’ to complainant’s vehicle.”
  • April 16: Grand larceny, fourth, West Hoffman Avenue, report indicated, “Items Stolen.”
  • April 13: Grand larceny, fourth, North Fulton Avenue, report indicated, “Theft of jewelry.
