Police Report: Stolen Safe, Copper Theft, Grafitti at Lindenhurst Train Station

Incidents in Lindenhurst and North Lindenhurst between September 9 and 23, and one on August 30.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Incidents

  • September 23: Harassment, second degree, West Hoffman Avenue.
  • September 22: Aggravated harassment, second, North Indiana Avenue.
  • September 19: Aggravated harassment, Sunrise Highway.
  • September 19: Harassment, second, Jerome Street, report indicated, “Female asking for police, unknown type of altercation.”
  • September 18: Harassment, second, 50th Street, report indicated, “Husband versus wife/physical complainant is 15-year-old daughter.”
  • September 18: Harassment, second, 45th Street, report indicated, “Father versus son, complainant is father.”
  • September 17: Criminal mischief, third, Daniel Street, report indicated, “To party bus comp, recalled to check status.”
  • September 17: Criminal mischief, fourth, Washington Drive, report indicated, “Front door egged, possible youths.”
  • September 16: Burglary, second, Grand Avenue, report indicated, “Safe stolen some time during the day.”
  • September 16: Criminal mischief, third, West Montauk Highway, report indicated, “White male came out of vehicle…slammed window….”
  • September 16: Criminal mischief, fourth, North Erie Avenue, report indicated, “Two to three youths in backyard.”
  • September 15: Criminal mischief, fourth, 40th Street, report indicated, “To vehicle.”
  • September 14: Making Graffiti, Lindenhurst Railroad Station.
  • September 10: Aggravated harassment, Bedell Street, report indicated, “Via phone on-going problem.”
  • September 9: Burglary, second, 50th Street, report indicated, “Of copper…tan Camry.”
  • August 30: Grand larceny, third, 35th Street.
