Police Report: Threats, Bullying, Slashed Tires, Stealing

Incidents in Lindenhurst, and North Lindenhurst, between March 3 and 8, plus a few from February and another one from January.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Incidents

  • March 8: Harassment, second degree, North Indiana Avenue, report indicated, "Twenty-eight-old son on drugs in front of incident location."
  • March 8: Petit larceny, North Wellwood Avenue, report indicated, "Unknown 'WH' intoxicated, male 'harass,' female (employee) complainant."
  • March 8: Aggravated harassment, second, June Street, report indicated, "Possible 'VOP,' threatening phone call from known male."
  • March 8: Burglary, second, Montauk Highway, "room 215," according to the report, which also indicated, "Complainant, 26, to precinct."
  • March 7: Harassment, second, Charles Street, report indicated, "Sixteen-year-old son being bullied by known students."
  • March 6: Burglary, second, North Broadway, report indicated, "Back door broken and lock broken."
  • March 6: Criminal mischief, fourth, Ocean Street, report indicated, "Irate tenant, 10-51 NYC at incident location, threw a dog dish."
  • March 5: Grand larceny, fourth, Charles Street, report indicated, "'L/S' wallet, call back request."
  • March 5: Grand larceny, fourth, West Hoffman Avenue, report indicated, "Item from vehicle, complainant, 118."
  • March 5: Criminal mischief, fourth, Orchard Street, report indicated, "To vehicles, occurred last night (before phone call to police)."
  • March 4: Criminal mischief, fourth, Heathcote Road, report indicated, "Door open, complainant is upstairs tenant, use front entrance."
  • March 4: Aggravated harassment, Ocean Street, report indicated, "Making threats, male subject."
  • March 4: Criminal mischief, fourth, North Richmond Avenue, report indicated, "One Apartment 116, unknown subject, just threw something and broke."
  • March 3: Aggravated harassment, second, Piave Terrace.
  • March 3: Criminal mischief, fourth, Byrd Street, report indicated, "Fence just kicked in, complainant has no description."
  • March 3: Criminal mischief, fourth, North Monroe Avenue, report indicated, "To vehicle, slashed tires, 'AOD.'"
  • March 3: Criminal mischief, fourth, Charles Street, report indicated, "Window smashed on black Jeep Liberty, 115 advused."
  • March 3: Criminal mischief, fourth, Auburn Street, report indicated, "To window."
  • February 29: Criminal mischief, fourth, North Fulton Avenue, report indicated, "Attempted 10-3 prior."
  • February 23: Grand larceny, fourth, Richmond Avenue, report indicated, "Complainant, of checks 'comp' recalled."
  • February 19: Grand larceny, fourth, North Greene Avenue, report indicated, "Jewelry from jewelry box."
  • January 10: Aggravated harassment, South 10th Street.
