AMITYVILLE, NY — Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives seek the public’s help to identify and locate the man suspected of stealing from a vehicle in an Amityville parking lot last month.

Police said the suspect followed his victim from Bethpage Federal Credit Union, at 6247 Sunrise Highway in Massapequa, to a parking lot at 212 Broadway in Amityville on Dec. 15.

He stole cash at 4:25 p.m. then fled in a black Honda Odyssey, police said.
