PTA Council Awards Scholarships to Graduating Seniors

Students and officials alike recognized for their hard work in a tough school year.

The Lindenhurst Council of Parent Teacher Associations presented scholarships to rewarding Lindenhurst High School graduating seniors, as a part of the end-of-year meeting held recently at Lindenhurst Middle School.

The awards were given to the following seniors:

  • Dr. Anthony J. Pecorale Highest Average – Caroline Rakus-Wojciechowski
  • Lawrence Lobaugh Scholarship – Elizabeth Mackey
  • Howard J. Triani Memorial – Patricia Pikura
  • Grace Marie McGraw Memorial – Edward Kellerman
  • Further Studies – James Ahearn, William Liles, Nora McKenna, Kevin Schmidt
The Council also recognized Council PTA President Julie Cicchetti and Public Information Officer Carol Hauser were recognized for their hard work and dedication and received special National PTA Awards.
