SCPD: Lindenhurst 9/11 Memorial Garden Statue Damaged

The was damaged sometime between yesterday and today, according to the Suffolk County Police First Squad.

Precinct detectives are investigating the criminal mischief incident that resulted in the statue being damaged between May 26 and May 27 at the , located at Heiling Boulevard and Irmisch Avenue.

First Precinct officers were called to the garden after unknown persons knocked over a and caused what police are calling “extensive damage to the statue.”
