It might be Fall, but Summer seems to be taking one last muggy last stand before she’s ushered out the door for good. Too bad it has to be muggy, instead of simply sunny and warm.

Gates open at 11 a.m., rain or shine, for the band competition and festival. First performance begins 11:45 a.m. Admission is $6, but children five years old and younger are free with an adult. There’ll be food, entertainment and a raffle to win 60" HDTV.
