Talk Back Poll: What Should the Schools Do with Extra State Aid?
The Lindenhurst School District received more aid than expected in the approved New York state budget. Patch wants to know how you think the district should spend it.
Lindenhurst Patch that will receive another $800,000 in state aid for the 2012-13 school year than originally estimated.
The approved New York state budget means that the district will have $2.4 million more aid instead of the $1.6 million originally projected for next school year.
The is still being finalized with adoption scheduled for , April 18, 8 p.m. at the McKenna Administration Building.
