According to reports, 400 million tickets in 48 hours have been sold before Friday's 10:45 p.m. cut-off time to those dreaming of having a lifestyle of the rich and famous.

That translates to 14 million tickets an hour, which could bump the $540 million jackpot up even higher before the 11 p.m. drawing on Friday night, according to reports.
