SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Employees at two businesses were accused of selling alcohol to minors after Suffolk County police did compliance checks at four local retailers in response to community complaints.
The operation was conducted between 2 and 4 p.m., police said.
The charge was first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child.

- An employee at Conoco at 1310 Sunrise Highway in Copiague — Hiron Shah, 51, of New Hyde Park.
- An employee at Ultra, 571 West Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst — Erican Kaymaz, 51, of Lindenhurst
Both men were issued a Field Appearance Ticket and are scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
