WYANDANCH, NY — Wyandanch Union Free School District is enlisting its community to help choose a new mascot logo after dropping the Warriors mascot following the state ban on Native American names, mascots and imagery.

The school district chose the wolf as its new mascot last month and has launched a survey for all community members to help choose between two different logos, both featuring a wolf with the district's colors, yellow and green.
