Wyandanch Man Kicked, Spit On Officers: Suffolk PD
He was found asleep in a car that had crashed into a bush and fence, police said.
HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — A Wyandanch resident faces charges after an incident at 8:15 a.m. Saturday.
Police said they found Shaquasha Irby, 31, of State Avenue, asleep in the driver’s seat of a running 2021 Nissan Altima that had crashed into a bush and a fence on East 2nd Street in Huntington Station. While being transported to a local hospital for evaluation, Irby spit on and kicked police officers.
Irby was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, two counts of Harassment 2nd Degree and four counts of Assault 2nd Degree.
