77-Year-Old In Critical Condition After Long Beach Crash: Police
Police say the woman was struck by a Chevy Silverado on Pacific Boulevard.
LONG BEACH, NY. — A 77-year-old woman was in critical condition after being struck by a Chevy Silverado in Long Beach Monday morning, police said.
According to Nassau County police, the 49-year-old man driving the pickup truck was traveling east on East Chester Street just before 10:30 a.m.; he made a right turn onto Pacific Boulevard where he struck the woman, who suffered serious body trauma and was hospitalized, police said.
The man remained at the scene and an investigation into the crash is ongoing, police said.

Police did not report any criminal charges stemming from the crash Monday afternoon.
