Dead Whale Washes Up In Long Beach

BREAKING

(Atlantic Marine Conservation Society)

A dead whale washed up in Long Beach Friday evening, according to the Atlantic Marine Conservation Society.

The public should keep a distance of 150 feet from the animal at all times, authorities said. Though dead, in its location and condition, the whale could still be unsafe.

The whale, which was found off Laurelton Boulevard, was seen floating near a wrecked ship last week, the AMCS told PIX 11.
