D'Esposito To Make Final Push For Voters At Rally
Speaker Mike Johnson is expected to attend the Thursday night event.
FRANKLIN SQUARE, NY — Rep. Anthony D'Esposito will make his closing argument for another term at a rally on Thursday evening.
Former Long Island congressman Lee Zeldin is also expected to attend the event at Plattduetsche Park Restaurant in Franklin Square.
D'Esposito is in a tight race with Laura Gillen for the NY-4 seat. Cook Political Report lists the race as a toss-up. Gillen had a 12-point lead over the incumbent in a poll released last week by Newsday-Siena College.
