Firefighters Contain Blaze At Long Beach Restaurant: FD
It happened Monday night at the Tandoor Grill on W. Beech St., the Long Beach Fire Department said.

LONG BEACH, NY — Firefighters were called to a building fire on Monday evening.
Just after 10 p.m., Long Beach Fire Department responded to a blaze at 1042 W. Beech St. They found a heavy smoke condition in the ground floor restaurant, Tandoor Grill, the fire department posted on Facebook.
Smoke extended above the restaurant's apartment on Georgia Avenue. All residents were evacuated safely, the department said.

The fire was contained to the room where it started. There were no injuries, the fire department said.
Nassau County's Fire Marshal is investigating the fire.
