LI's Billy Crystal Sees Pacific Palisades Home Destroyed By Wildfire
"We know in time it will rise again. It is our home," Crystal said of rebuilding.
LONG BEACH, NY — The devastating Los Angeles wildfires have impacted actor Billy Crystal, who grew up in Long Beach and has called Pacific Palisades home since 1979.
Crystal said in a statement to CNN that his home was destroyed.
"We ache for our friends and neighbors who have also lost their homes and businesses in this tragedy," Crystal said.

The nine-time Academy Awards host said that home was where we "raised our children and grandchildren."
Crystal, 76, is confident that he and his wife Janice will rebuild: "The Pacific Palisades is a resilient community of amazing people and we know in time it will rise again. It is our home."

More than 175,000 residents were forced to evacuate from the multiple fires this week.
