Long Beach Branch Shutting For Overnight Repairs: LIRR

LONG BEACH, NY — The Long Beach branch of the Long Island Rail Road will be shut Tuesday night for track repairs, the LIRR said.

No trains will run between Valley Stream and Long Beach, in both directions, from 8 p.m. Tuesday to 4:30 a.m. Wednesday. Buses will replace trains.

The last trains to operate are the 6:49 p.m. from Long Beach and the 7:18 p.m. from Grand Central Madison. Service will resume with the 5:13 a.m. train from Long Beach and the 3:52 a.m. from Penn Station.
