Long Beach needs to move forward

Babylon Town, Suffolk County cannabis revenue hits nearly $3.5 million in 2024

(Newsday )

While forward thinking leaders in Suffolk County have reaped huge profits and very little problems from allowing legal Cannabis Dispensaries the adolescent thinking of Nassau County and the "NEW" Long Beach Council members Finn, Fiumara, Reinhart and City Manager Creighton continue to act like they are running a High School Student Government instead of a thriving municipal government!

They continue to just listen to the same old tired loudest voices in the room to make sure they are reelected, not governing, just appeasing the loudest folks!💕✌️

I seriously don't know why any city would continue to open commercial business that don't give them 3% of their TOTAL REVENUE to the city to use ANYWAY they want and think their decision is the correct one.

Not one major problem has occurred with the opening of these places and THEY foot the bill for ANY costs to the municipal government if and when problems occur.

So sad

Enjoy living in the past, continue to open fast food places, bars, restaurants and such and then try to explain why you need more tax money from the residents and ignore a million dollar industry..

So very sad

BOTH political parties are playing us as fools..

Lead for once... STOP trying to be All things to ALL people and JUST GOVERN PROPERLY!
