Loop Parkway To Close For Construction During Next 3 Weeks
The overnight work is to renovate the Long Creek drawbridge.

POINT LOOKOUT, NY — Expect overnight slowdowns on the Loop Parkway for the next few weeks.
Starting on Monday, Oct. 17, the highway will be closed in both directions to traffic for roadwork on the drawbridge at Long Creek, the state Department of Transportation said.
Drivers should anticipate the full closure weeknights from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for approximately three weeks, weather permitting.

Additionally, the Loop Parkway drawbridge will be reduced to one lane in both directions from Monday, October 24, through approximately May.
