Man Breaks Into Island Park Gas Station Through Brickwork: Police

The man removed bricks from the outside wall and entered the gas station through a small hole, police say.

ISLAND PARK, NY — Nassau police are looking for a man who, detectives said, burglarized an Island Park gas station this weekend

A man removed bricks from an outside wall and entered Sunoco Gas, located at 4096 Austin Boulevard, around 1:54 a.m. Saturday, police said. He then entered the business through a small hole, police said.

The man ran away in an unknown direction, police said. No items were stolen from the business, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
