UPDATE: Missing Man Visiting Friend In Island Park Found, Police Say

ISLAND PARK, NY — Authorities say Samuel Harrison, 47, has been found.


(Original post) ISLAND PARK, NY — The Nassau County Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing man.

Samuel Harrison, 47, was last seen Thursday around 10 a.m. in Island Park, where he was visiting a friend, according to authorities.

Detectives describe Harrison as a 6-foot, 200-pound white male with brown hair, brown eyes, and a tattoo of Buddha on his forearm. He also speaks with an English accent.

He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and jeans and carrying a black duffle bag. Authorities say he may be in East Hampton Township in Suffolk County.
