The weather is expected to turn nasty today and tomorrow, with the potential for — brace yourself — more snow accumulations! Yes, winter is still with us, but there are other things to think about in Long Beach this Wednesday:
1. The West End Neighbors Civic Association kicks off its 2011 meetings at 7 p.m. at the West End Community Center, the building connected to West School on Maryland Avenue.
2. Grillfire and Nick’s Tuscan Grill, two restaurants on Park Avenue, host Wine Wednesdays every mid-day of the week.
