March 28: Softball Game, Latin Aerobics, Diabetes Club

Yes, it’s time to get back to work and school, but you don't need us to tell you that. Admit it thought, we've become your one-stop source for finding out about general events and activities in Long Beach. That said, here's what’s happening Monday:  

1. As March Madness nears its finale, the high school spring sports season gets underway. Today, Long Beach softball hosts Farmingdale. First pitch is at 4:15. 

2. Instructor Stephanie Durso leads a class of Low-Impact Latin Dancing every Monday at 12:30 p.m. at the Magnolia Senior Center on Magnolia Boulevard. This class enables seniors to learn a new and challenging form of dancing.

3. Do you have concerns about diabetes? A Diabetes club meeting is held every Monday at 7:30 p.m. at The Long Beach Medical Center.

4. Later today on Patch: We’ll post a video of the Long Beach Bridge renaming ceremony on Friday.
