"Now I Make up for It." Lisa Wong Esposito

At Christmastime, our homes and businesses from the bay to the shore are lit up to cheer us up. And it does work

But often we don’t know the story, the reason, behind the effort, cost, and management of the decorations that make Christmas—Christmas.

I had a long chat with a lovely lady whom I introduced to you before. Through this chat, I learned a lot about her childhood in a foreign country and her coming to America.

Her family came here when she was fourteen, but she recalls vividly what it was like to live in a home that was good and kind to her, but didn't celebrate Christmas.

She told me about what life was like for her as a child, intriguing facts about it. But she also told me how it is far worse there now, after communism came to town.
