Overnight Closures Due To Repairs On Meadowbrook Pkwy.

The highway will be shut northbound from Loop Parkway to Bay Parkway.

LONG BEACH, NY — Repairs to the Sloop Channel drawbridge will cause more overnight shutdowns this week.

Drivers should be aware of road work on the Meadowbrook Parkway between the Loop Parkway and Bay Parkway.

The road is scheduled to be closed northbound on the highway Wednesday and Thursday night from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.

You can use the Wantagh Parkway as an alternate.

The overnight construction began last week, the City of Long Beach said on its website.

The New York State Department of Transportation would like to advise you that there will be overnight closures on the Meadowbrook State Parkway.
