Plan For Meadowbrook Parkway Nightly Closures This Week
The highway will shut, weather permitting, both ways from Loop Parkway to Bay Parkway.
POINT LOOKOUT, NY — Drivers should be alerted to road closures on the Meadowbrook State Parkway.
Both directions of the highway will be closed from Loop Parkway to Bay Parkway.
Work is expected this week from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to use the Wantagh State Parkway instead.
Starting on Sept. 26, both ways on the drawbridge will be reduced to one lane until May. It is part of the rehabilitation of the drawbridge at Sloop Channel.
