Rep. D'Esposito Announces Reelection Bid
New York's 4th Congressional District is listed as a toss-up by the Cook Political Report.

ISLAND PARK, NY — Congressman Anthony D'Esposito has officially launched his reelection bid to represent the 4th District.
"It’s been an honor and privilege to represent Nassau County in the House of Representatives,” Rep. D’Esposito (R-Island Park) said. "As a retired NYPD Detective and Councilman in America’s largest town, I’ve been able to bring a unique perspective to important policy debates about law enforcement, the migrant crisis and the battle against inflation."
A member of the House Homeland Security and Transportation committees, Congressman D’Esposito has taken a leading role in the national discourse on border security.

However, getting to a second term might be more difficult. The Cook Political Report has the NY-04 race as a "toss-up."
