Summer Beach Program For Seniors Splashes Into Action June 24

LIDO BEACH, NY — Town of Hempstead seniors are being sent free passes for the summer beach program.

Mailers include two free passes for the 10-week outdoor program starting on June 24. It's open to town residents 55 and older. Parking is included at Lido Beach Town Park.

Activities include Tai Chi, Fitness Fun, Aquatic Exercise and Zumba. Of course, enjoying the swimming pool and sitting at the beach are also part of the things to do.

The summer beach program is being held at The Sands at Lido Beach, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
