They do it Again and Again

I sure have a ball on our Long Beach boards and shore. Yes, as you are aware, I’m always on the lookout for breaching whales, diving ospreys, and high-wave surfing.

But I realize today that all summer long, I take too much for granted on our shore. Too much has been in front of me that I failed to fully appreciate.

Sure, I see them doing their jobs, staying on their chairs atop their mounds, keeping vigilant.

But until recently, I never realized how deep the commitment is to them. What a record they have due to their diligence.

As Thanksgiving takes us to thoughts of gratitude, let me take you to what I’ve learned about those who care about you and your loved ones. How they work to see that: whoever goes to the beach, goes home from the beach:
