Thug Beats 65-Year-Old Stranger Unconscious In Delancey Street Station, Police Say
An unknown attacker repeatedly punched and kicked a 65-year-old man until he lost consciousness, police said.

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — An unknown man beat a 65-year-old man waiting for a train unconscious, police said.
Officers are looking for the attacker who they say beat his victim as he waited in the Delancey Street subway station on June 18. According to police, he approached the man at 4:50 p.m. as he waited on the subway platform for a Queens bound J train. The attacker punched the man in the face, knocking him to the ground, and then continued to punch and kick the man until he lost consciousness, the NYPD said in a statement.
The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition, police said.

Police released photos of the man they believe is the attacker on Sunday. They estimate that he is about 20 years old.
