  1. The Oonee Pod, a modular bike parking pod, has been installed at Essex Market. The installation is part of a pilot program that the Department of Transportation will be testing throughout the city this spring. According to DOT, the pods will stay in each location for 29 days in order to gather data from various neighborhoods. (Bowery Boogie)
  2. With springtime weather growing warmer, greenmarkets in Lower Manhattan are reopening. These local markets provide fresh produce and greenery after a long winter. The market organizers ask that you bring your own, reusable bags, to these locations listed here. (Downtown Alliance)
