Cyclist Dies 2 Months After Being Hit By Car On Bowery, Police Say
A 59-year-old cyclist died from his injuries after he was wounded in a June collision with a car, police said.

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — A cyclist injured in a collision on the Lower East Side has died, police said. Edouard Menuau, 59, suffered severe head trauma in the June 26 crash.
Menuau died from his injuries on Aug. 14. Police said he was cycling across Bowery at Canal Street when a driver traveling north on Bowery collided with him in the middle of the intersection.

The driver of the car, a 67-year-old man, remained at the scene of the collision and was not immediately arrested, police said. Investigators are still reviewing the case.
