Man Found Dead In Lower East Side Club

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — A man was found dead inside a members-only club on the Lower East Side late on Friday night, according to police.

Officers responded to a 911 call at about 11:10 p.m. on Friday and found the man unconscious inside the Ludlow House, an exclusive club at 139 Ludlow St. on the Lower East Side. EMS employees responded to the location and pronounced the man dead at the scene. The medical examiner will determine the exact cause of death, but police sources told the New York Post that a drug overdose is suspected.

Police are not identifying the man, 31, until after they've notified his family.
