Here are the top stories in Lower East Side-Chinatown today:

  1. A drug deal led to a man getting shot in the leg early on Sunday morning in Sara D. Roosevelt Park. The 30-year-old victim was shot in the leg near the sunken court after two suspects took drugs from him before shooting. The victim was able to limp to Delancey Street before he was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition. (Bowery Boogie)
  2. A man was stabbed in the back of the head in an unprovoked attack early on Sunday morning. The 36 year old was walking along Broome Street in Little Italy when he was stabbed at about 2:50 a.m. The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, where he told the police that he did not know who his attacker was. (Yahoo News)
  3. The recently installed Oonee bike parking module was struck by a car on Friday night. The incident occurred when a driver allegedly made a "wide" turn onto Broome Street, but the damage done to the pod is reportedly cosmetic, and none of the bikes inside were damaged. The pod remains operational after it was pushed onto the sidewalk. (Bowery Boogie)
