Pervert In 'NY Hearts Hillary' T-Shirt Sexually Assaults 8-Year-Old On LES, Police Say
Police say a man sexually abused an 8-year-old on the Lower East Side.
LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — Police are seeking a man seen wearing a Hillary Clinton T-shirt who they say sexually abused an 8-year-old girl on the Lower East Side.
Police say he approached the girl in the courtyard of a building near Essex and Broome streets at 7:40 p.m. on Saturday. The man tried to talk to the girl before grabbing her "genital area over her clothes," police said in a statement.
Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the man, and have released surveillance footage. Police say the man is likely between 20 and 30 years old.
