Police are searching for two men in connection with the Sept. 1 theft.

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — Two men stole a debit card, an Xbox and more from an unsuspecting man's apartment after he invited them back to his home, police said.

A 22-year-old man invited the two thieves, who police have not identified, back to his apartment near Rivington and Ridge streets early on the morning of Sept. 1, at about 3:18 a.m., police said. Once inside, the men took the victim's debit card, iPhone, Xbox and a bag before fleeing the Lower East Side home, the NYPD said in a statement. Later, the debit card was used to purchase at least $1,300 of goods at different locations, police said.
