WEST HEMPSTEAD, NY — A West Hempstead bakery is putting her treats to the ultimate taste test, as she competes in Food Network's new series "Spring Baking Championship: Easter."

Sydney Perry has operated Sydney's Sweets with her husband since 2006, Newsday reports.

They started the business at home and moved into a brick-and-mortar location on Hempstead Avenue in 2013.
