Castellano Granted Tenure in Malverne
Davison Avenue Intermediate reading teacher gets recognized by the school board.
Kristina Castellano, a reading teacher at Davison Avenue Intermediate School, was honored by the Malverne Board of Education on Dec. 8 for being granted tenure.
Teachers who are granted tenure must exhibit strong leadership skills and complete a multiyear process of proving themselves worthy of the Malverne name.
