Class of 2012 Graduates Malverne H.S. [Photos]

Malverne High School's Class of 2012 received their diplomas and turned their tassels Friday night.

Although sporadic thunderstorms forced the commencement ceremony indoors, the change didn't dampen the spirits of the seniors and their proud families.

The evening included speeches from Schools Superintendent James Hunderfund, Class Valedictorianand Salutatorian , and a beautiful rendition of "Lean On Me" by Malverne's award-winning Select Choir.

Then, one-by-one the students processed across the stage of Howard T. Herber Middle School to shake hands with school officials, including retiring Board of Education Vice President Karen Aker, and were handed their diplomas.

Congratulations to Malverne's Class of 2012!
