Cops: Lynbrook Teen Busted Under Social Host Law

Dozens of people were found at a party Thursday afternoon, police said.

Nassau Police busted a midday party Thursday night that resulted in a social host law violation for one Lynbrook teen.

Cops said they received a 911 call about a large party on Lloyd Avenue at 12:15 p.m.

Responding officers found around 70 adults under 21 years of age inside the home, cops said. Some of the partygoers had alcoholic beverages, authorities said.

The party’s host, Jake Sandler, 19, who lives in the house, was issued an appearance ticket for a social host law violation, police said. He will answer to the violation at a later date at First District Court in Hempstead.
