Celebrate 100 years of volunteer fire service in Malverne.
The Malverne Fire Department formerly Norwood Hook and Ladder, turned 100 this year and the 4th Battalion is commemorating the milestone with a parade through Malverne on June 25.
It starts at 6 p.m. We hear the best spot to see the parade is on Hempstead Avenue - anywhere  from Park Boulevard to the Associated supermarket.
