"We are eager to provide this important upgrade to the people we serve,” said John Kilpatrick, director of engineering for Liberty New York Water. “Maintaining and routinely updating our infrastructure allows us to improve water quality and system pressure, while also ensuring our customers continue to have a dependable water supply.”
This water main replacement project will occur along Park Blvd., from Linmouth Road to Ocean Avenue, and is expected to take approximately three weeks to complete, upon approval from Nassau County Department of Health. This work will include installation of the water main, chlorination, water quality sampling, and the replacement of service lines to homes. The Village of Malverne will execute the final yard restoration after work is completed.
