Local Camp on Cake Boss, Living Healthy Workshop

Living Healthy Workshop - This six-week workshop series, led by two trained peer leaders, is designed to help older adults take charge of chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, anxiety, etc. The workshop takes place at the West Hempstead Public Library on Monday at 10 a.m. 

Rolling River Day Camp on Cake Boss – The East Rockaway camp will be featured on an upcoming episode of TLC's hit show, "Cake Boss," with the episode set to air nationally on Monday, August 5 at 9:00pm.   

Lynbrook Moving Sale – There will be a huge moving sale in Lynbrook on Saturday, August 3 and Sunday, Aug 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 39 St. James Pl. Hundreds of new items will be listed for sale. Click here for more info.

Malverne Theater Fundraiser – The community theater held their “Cocktails and Curtains” fundraiser on Sunday evening at Uva Rossa restaurant. . Check back with Patch to see how the event went!
