A number of local politicians came out to honor former Malverne Village Justice James W. Doughtery and former Malverne Village Trustee George Wright last week at the village's Arbor Day Celebration at Westwood Park.
Town of Hempstead Senior Councilman Anthony J. Santino, Councilman James Darcy, Sen. Dean Skelos, R-Rockville Centre, and Assemblyman Brian Curran, R-Lynbrook joined members of the community and family members of the late village officials helped plant trees in Westwood Park for future generations to enjoy.
