The Lynbrook High School boys varsity soccer team claimed the championship title in the 2013 Mineola Mustang Cup on Sept. 9-10.
This was the second consecutive year that the Owls won top honors in this event. Lynbrook beat Oyster Bay by a score of 3-0, and then went on to defeat Locust Valley in the championship game by a score of 4-0.
Patrick Doody, Matias Garcia, Sasha Gimadiev, Matt Kurkemelis, Dylan O'Brien and Brendan Tedaldi made the All-Tournament team. Tedaldi was also named the Tournament MVP.
