Lynbrook Kicker Is First Female To Score In Team History
Olivia Vuotto is also a member of the school's soccer team.
LYNBROOK, NY — Lynbrook High School senior Olivia Vuotto, 17, is breaking her own record with each kick.
Vuotto, who also plays soccer for the fall season, is the only girl to score points in Lynbrook football history, the Herald reported.
Since the season started, Vuotto made 8 of 9 extra points, while helping the Owls to a 2-0 start, the Herald reported.

On Sept. 18, Vuotto had double duty, first on the soccer field as Lynbrook and Long Beach played to a 1-1 tie. A short time later, she made four extra points in a game at Manhasset.
That same day, Mepham's Sofia LaSpina became the first female to score a touchdown in Long Island high school history.
